The Portland mouse is the smaller member of the rodents order. They are funny and entertaining to see and the mice in the nature are busy bodies and they scuttle around to fill their inquisitive nature. The food can be special pelleted or seed based foods that are found at the market. The mice may eat the foods that are known for the rodents such as gerbils, hamsters, mice and rats. For the beddings, they may have hardwood pulp like unlinked papers and aspen. When the Oregon mice are found in the nature, they are herbivore and they can consume anything such as grain and fruits. When they are in the urban set up, they can start to eat any food scraps. In the captivity, they do eat commercial pelleted diet. The mice are the staple diet in many carnivores and as humans; they eat the mice from the prehistoric time.
